Meet Gita!

Good morning from Gita and her ginormous ears  💕

This sweet 3 year old German Shepherd was found as a stray in Crooked River Ranch last August - likely abandoned after her previous owners discovered she was pregnant. She had her puppies (who’ve all been adopted!), and now it’s her turn to find a forever home.🐾

Gita is truly a “go anywhere” kind of girl. She’s great off-leash, does amazing in public places, and is extremely well-mannered. She LOVES outdoor adventures - trail running, swimming, and even saying hi to the mailman! She’s also great with other dogs and absolutely loves people.

Gita would love a temporary foster home if you can give her a place to stay? To foster, please email [email protected].

Or if you are interested in adopting Gita, please fill out an adoption application at streetdoghero.org.
